Nina Rizzo

Nina is a counselor, healer, and meditation and yoga instructor. As a lifelong athlete, Nina first came to mindful practices after suffering an athletic career-ending injury during her freshman year as an NCAA athlete. It was during this difficult transition that she found healing in mind, body, and spirit from the practices of yoga and meditation.
Since her first experience as a yoga student, Nina knew she wanted to share these practices with others. Her own healing process has armed her with tools to inspire others to live their most optimal lives.
Nina's mission is now to guide others toward a more fulfilling lifestyle of present moment awareness, balance, and empowerment.
Her classes involve a mix of inspiration, positive energy, and enlightening music.
Nina currently holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance, is a certified meditation teacher, is certified in mindfulness based stress reduction, and has completed Master Class Levels I and II with Gabrielle Bernstein. Nina is currently working toward her LPC as she pursues a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling.
