Lucia was born and raised in Brazil. She always wanted to speak English so she decided the best way to learn the language was to come to the USA. She moved to Philadelphia in 1999 and fell in love with the city and its culture.

 

Upon arrival in Philadelphia. she went to school to become a Medical Assistant. Later, she received further training to become an EKG technician and worked in that field for over a decade.

Three years ago while doing volunteer in the senior rehab center with dementia patients at Mercy Hospital, Lucia found that through gentle touch she could calm and connect with the patients. It was then that she discovered the power of touch and found her calling. Soon after she enrolled at Cortiva Institute in King of Prussia and graduated in February, 2015.

 

For the past few years, Lucia has worked as a massage therapist at a Chiropractic office, but has decided she wants to expand and bring her talents to more people. Lucia specializes in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, and Active Release Technique.
